Speaking & Teaching

Speaking & Teaching

The conversations I have been having in clinical practice for 26 years are now happening on a larger stage, and that is entirely intentional.

The topics that define this work, emotional abuse, coercive control, addictive relationship dynamics, attachment theory, and what genuine recovery actually requires, are topics that deserve a wider audience than a therapy room can hold.

Speaking for Clinical & Professional Audiences

What I speak and teach on depends on who is in the room, and the content shifts accordingly.

For clinicians and mental health professionals, the work goes deep into theory and clinical application. The trainings are designed to translate complex relational and attachment theory into practical clinical work with clients navigating emotional abuse, trauma bonding, and high-conflict relational patterns.

Current training offerings include:

These trainings are intended for therapists, social workers, and other mental health professionals seeking a more sophisticated clinical framework for understanding what they are seeing in the room.

Speaking for General Audiences

For general audiences, the work meets people where they actually are, which is usually somewhere in the middle of an experience they do not yet have language for.

Topics include:

  • Understanding emotional abuse and coercive control
  • Why leaving unhealthy relationships is so difficult
  • Attachment patterns and relationship dynamics
  • Conscious, intentional dating after abusive relationships
  • Relational recovery and rebuilding a sense of self

The through line across all of it is the same thing that runs through everything I do: helping people understand their relational patterns well enough to actually change them.

Booking & Media Inquiries

If you are an event organizer, conference planner, podcast host, or media producer looking for a knowledgeable and direct voice on these topics, I would welcome the conversation.

If you are a training coordinator or clinical supervisor interested in bringing this work to your team or organization, reach out and we can talk about what that could look like.
